This day was a day to remember.
It all start when we start to prepare them for the afternoon's pageant. The makeup , hair, outfit and everything was successfully done by our skilled friends Jan Chris A.KA. 'Anderlyn Xyra Hyun Xenolyn Montefalco Monterial Bregoli' and Jorvel. It was tiring and really enjoying at the same time. Because we all know that this will be worth it. On the other hand, one of our representative slowly losing the courage to pursue the pageant. It was a challenge for us to make her feel better. Telling her that she needs to believe to herself 'cause we do believe in her. That she don't need to think what other people will say to her rather to those who believe her.
It is very true that cooperation runs in the blood of Pilipinos specially when it comes to this kind of event. This Buwan ng Wika [Month of Language] reminds us the essence of giving importance and loving our own language , no matter how many new languages has risen. I'm so proud that I'm a Pilipino. During the first part of the the awarding our representatives doesn't receive any award. But they've made their way to the Top 10 , where the chance of winning will be more possible. But for us , supporters/classmates/makeup-artist/hairstylist/adviser they're already made it. They already won in our hearts. The joy was overflowing that brought a tears in our eyes. Then the Q&A proceeded successfully. Not long after when the moment of truth has arrive. The announcing of winners and their awards. We are not expecting anything but just cheering so loud (haha). When one of our contestant got the award as Lakambini ng Mindanao [Muse of Mindanao] and the other was awarded as Lakan ng Visayas [Adonis of Visayas]. It was a extreme hoot as a sign of extreme happiness and blessings we received. Everything was worth it.
I do believe that we are created for each other. We are in that place for reason. One of the main reason is to encourage people around you to step out from their comfort zone and make them believe that they are way better than they think they are.
